AE has full-service CEI capabilities with extensive experience providing CEI services as a prime consultant. Our firm has completed numerous projects for the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) in all seven districts and Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise. Our expertise begins with the strength of our team consisting of highly qualified professionals to ensure every aspect of a project is delivered successfully to clients. AE has participated in a wide range of transportation, civil engineering and public projects, with expertise in highways, roadways, moveable bridges, segmental bridges, fixed bridges, tolling facilities, service plaza facilities, airports, drainage, utilities and buildings.

Construction Inspection

During construction we provide exemplary CEI services to ensure the project is built in accordance with contract documents and meets expectations of project stakeholders from contract award through submittal of the final estimate. We govern our services in accordance with the Department’s Construction Project and Administration Manual and the applicable standards and specifications.

Construction Plan Review

Our team is able to provide Constructability/Biddability reviews to ensure the project is let with the best possible opportunity for success. We believe a thorough plan review process is a vital tool to mitigate potential conflicts, avoid claims and minimize project cost and time overruns.

Interstate Highways

AE has extensive experience in all aspects of roadway and bridge construction including limited access high-speed interstate facilities such as I-95, I-10, I-4, I-595 and I-295. Our personnel understands the importance of safety and maintenance of traffic coordination.

Bridge Rehabilitation and New Construction

AE has and is currently working on several bridge rehabilitation projects including bascule and fixed span bridges with improvements such as spall restoration, deck grooving, structural steel repairs, mechanical, electrical, and cathodic protection. Our team members are experienced in all aspects of bridge construction from simple to complex, including segmental, bascule and structural steel.

Bridge Coatings

AE has a bridge coatings division which offers all-encompassing bridge coatings services from inspection to project management. Our staff of specialists possess the certifications, training and experience necessary to ensure the best possible product is provided to our clients. To date, AE‘s bridge coatings team has participated on coatings bridge projects throughout the State of Florida and has developed a “problem solving” reputation.

Urban Reconstruction

AE has completed numerous urban reconstruction projects, which usually involve massive utility coordination efforts for relocation and/or conflict resolution with existing facilities. Proper Public Information and Maintenance of Traffic coordination are essential to the success of urban projects, involving constant communication and coordination with stakeholders.
